As a child growing up with a father who owned a small construction company, I learned about the joy that comes from a hard day's work. I also learned in my youth that I was gifted in math. Those two recognitions have led to an extremely enjoyable 18-year career as an Edward Jones financial advisor.

A wonderful aspect of my profession is seeing the impact my branch team can have on our clients' financial health. We don't just help our clients with their investments and assets; we give them financial guidance to enjoy their passions.

Clients often come to me during periods of transition such as retiring, receiving an inheritance, selling a farm or business, changing jobs or setting up a new income stream. My clientele consists of retirees, business owners, farm operators, medical professionals, tax and legal professionals, and blue-collar professionals who have the desire to create and maintain wealth. I welcome the involvement of your CPA, attorney and other professionals to address all of your financial concerns including tax mitigation, estate considerations, wealth protection strategies, as well as charitable giving.

Another noteworthy aspect of my practice is that I've been blessed with a team that is exceptional. Nancy Zimpfer and MarNell Schmiesing have a combined 29 years of experience with Edward Jones. Our team together is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service.

Because of the trust and confidence our clients place in us, I have qualified for the Managing Partner's Conference each of the past three years, an honor reserved for the firm's top 400 financial advisors. I have earned my AAMS™ certification and have served in various leadership positions within the firm, including training and developing some of the newest financial advisors for this part of Ohio.

My wife, Amy, and I have five daughters. If you don’t find us is a gymnasium watching our girls play basketball or volleyball, you might also find us working with our fair pigs in the summer or supporting various local charities including the Ranger Athletic Boosters, the New Bremen-New Knoxville Rotary Club, and the Auglaize County Fair.

I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you.
