Before you can begin working toward achieving your financial goals, you must first define what's important to yourself and your family. Does that include putting your children through college, making sure you've saved enough for retirement, leaving something for your heirs or something else? I can help you prioritize your needs and define your goals.
I attended the University of North Dakota and graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in finance. I knew right away after graduation that I wanted to work for a firm with a rich history of doing what is right for their clients. I had many friends who worked at Edward Jones and heard nothing but great things. I was fortunate enough to start employment with Edward Jones in 2006 and we made the move from Grand Forks to Williston (my wife's hometown).
The most satisfying part of my job is working with families and small business owners to help them achieve their long-term financial goals. Williston is such a great community, and truly has some of the friendliest people I have the pleasure to see face-to-face every day. I was fortunate enough to be named to our firm's Managing Partner's Conference, an honor reserved for the firm's top 400 financial advisors.
In addition to my Edward Jones career, I also believe strongly in giving back to the community we serve. I have served on various boards in Williston, including Upper Missouri Ministries and Williston STAR Fund. I also volunteer many hours as a coach for our youth hockey program.
My wife, Katie, and I have three children... Keira (13), Kane (12) and Quinn (8). We enjoy chasing their activities across the state, whether it is dance, hockey, cross country or baseball. There is nothing we would rather do in our free time. We also enjoy spending weekends at our cabin at Lake Sakakawea in the summers.
