While studying in Laramie at the University of Wyoming, I took many classes across the business spectrum. Through that, I learned my specific interest was in finance and that I wanted a path that would lead me to working closely with people. I grew up in Wyoming and enjoy hiking, fishing and backpacking in the mountains, the beauty of the open spaces and the values and friendliness of it's people.

My wife, Amber, and I are raising our four children: Megan, Ally, Kristen and Hannah. Both my wife and I have been blessed to be involved in coaching their swimming and soccer teams in our community. All of the extended families we've met through our kids' activities and our church have given me a true appreciation of what's really important and the need to plan for the future and protect it.
