Mine is the age-old Rexburg, Idaho story. I moved to Rexburg from Cokeville, WY in 1985 to attend Ricks College, later met a good Blackfoot girl and got married in 1989, and had our first baby at Madison Memorial Hospital in 1990. We moved away for a time as our family grew but ended up back in good old Rexburg to build a business.
I spent 22 years in the title insurance industry, starting in Rexburg and moving through a few towns, including Rigby and Blackfoot, then ending in Pocatello. My mother always told me I'd find what I was looking for in any town, and wherever we've lived, we've found really nice people, and we've tried to be good neighbors in return. When the opportunity came to move back to Rexburg, a place we already knew well, and assume responsibility for a vacant Edward Jones office in 2011, we jumped at the chance.
I love using the tools available at Edward Jones to work with the people in SE Idaho to find a solution for any financial goal. I love helping good, hardworking people retire comfortably and on their time frame. I especially love working with retirement plans for small businesses to help business owners and their employees know how to save for their futures.
When not working, you'll find me volunteering with the Rexburg Kiwanis Club, the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce, a local cemetery board or with my church. You may see me on stage singing or acting, on a golf course with my wife, struggling to lower my handicap, or up at Kelly Canyon on a snowboard. In 2015, my wife and I made a "bucket list" goal to play golf in all 50 states. We're up to 18 now, and adding a couple every year.
