I was born and raised in the former Soviet Union Republic, Azerbaijan. I personally witnessed the rocky transition from the communist economy to free market capitalism and subsequent economic growth as it offered more opportunities and freedom.

After graduating with bachelor’s degree in economics and banking from Azerbaijan State Economic University, I was invited by the US government to study for Master of Economics at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I then obtained MBA at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. During my education, I became interested in financial markets, especially stocks. I learned that individual investors can build financial wealth by buying quality investments over time. Indeed, investment in quality over the long term gives investors an opportunity to possibly become indirect business owners without starting and running their own business on a daily basis.

After graduate school, I worked for a few years at Missouri Department of Economic Development. Just prior to 2008 recession, my family and I moved to Monticello, Arkansas, where I opened a new branch of Edward Jones.

I drove all of the backroads of Southeast Arkansas, visited all of our small towns, approaching all of the residential doors and businesses of the region, meeting many wonderful people who welcomed me and trusted me with their hard-earned assets and life savings. I truly enjoy helping our clients to reach their dreams! We work together to help build a successful financial future for independent retirement living and pass their legacy to loved ones.

My husband, John Kyle Day, Ph.D., is professor of history at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. We have two children, Sabina and John. We are big supporters of Shriners International, and enjoy traveling and learning about history and various cultures.
