My upbringing in Iowa and Nebraska was typical of most Midwestern families. I was taught to work hard, stay humble when things went well and stay resolute when times turned tough. Those early lessons still play a role in how I approach my life's calling as a financial advisor.

I earned a BS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Nebraska (2002) and received my MBA from the University of Minnesota (2006).

After 16 years as a client of Edward Jones, I joined the firm as a financial advisor in 2011. I am honored to serve a wide array of clients (from young families to late retirees, from small businesses to non-profits). I take pride in partnering with my clients to help them invest with confidence and achieve their long-term financial goals.

In 2019 I attained the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.

My branch office administrator, Kylie Hope, joined me in 2017. Kylie is as friendly as she is capable. We strive to provide an incredible client experience and make a lasting mark on the communities we serve. We welcome and encourage engagement with your tax professional and/or estate attorney.

When I am not busy serving my clients, I love spending time outdoors with my wife and our three energetic kids. Raising hard working, kind and generous children has been an incredible journey.
