In 2009 I got the chance to reinvent myself and start a second career. I wanted something that would marry my love for helping people with my financial skills.
I interviewed with many big name investment firms. The firm that stood above all the others? Edward Jones.
It was the culture and environment Edward Jones had fostered for their clients and employees. The level of personalized attention and care given to each client surpassed everything I witnessed at the other firms. And the amount of respect the employees had for each other was unmatched.
But what really got my attention and what I loved about the firm, was the over-arching practice of "always doing what's in the best interest of the client." Do what's right by the client and everything else follow.
I started my practice in 2009 in Franklin, TN in the community of Westhaven. This is home now and forever. My wife and I were married in 1989 and have two wonderful adult children who live and work in Nashville.
How do you determine if I'm the right advisor for you?
Simple. We start with a conversation to get to know each other. If we both like what we hear, we can decide to move forward. If there are doubts from one of us, we can talk longer to figure things out and then proceed accordingly.
I'll share with you from experience who makes a great client for my practice...someone who needs my advice, wants my advice and is willing to pay for my advice...so he or she can greatly improve the chances for better financial outcomes.
What's my investment process?
First, I use an established process that allows me to get to know what's most important to you. Then I build a personalized strategy to help you achieve your goals. And lastly I partner with you for the rest of your life to help you stay on track. We meet face-to-face at least once per year and we talk every three months on average.
