I came to Edward Jones with a passion for helping people make good decisions when it comes to their investment goals. A primary focus of my clients, amongst other things, is that they aspire to leave a family investment legacy. Our process ensures that we understand what is most important to our clients and is panoramic and all-encompassing so that we are prepared to face each opportunity the future may bring.

My branch team has been led by Karen Johnston, my senior branch office administrator since 2009. Marty Stone joined our practice in 2019 as a branch office administrator. I attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Consumer and Family Sciences. I currently hold Series 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations, in addition to life, health and long-term care insurance licenses.

I was born and raised in Orland Park, IL, where I first began my career with Edward Jones in 1996. I then moved to VanKampen/Invesco Investments, where I spent 13 years working closely with financial advisors throughout the Carolinas. After a brief stint with SunAmerica Retirement, my need to be closer to home for my family, along with my passion for helping individual investors, brought me back to Edward Jones in 2012.

My wife, Joanna, and I have been married for 25 years. We have lived in North Carolina since relocating here in 2001. We have three children: Maggie, a 2020 graduate from North Carolina State University; Jack, a junior at East Carolina University; and Colin, a freshman at East Carolina University (Roll Pirates!!!). Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, reading and fishing.
