WHY WE DO IT
My Edward Jones career began shortly before the 2008 financial crisis. As the crisis unfolded, I witnessed the emotional and financial impact on investors. These experiences defined how I partner with families to help them focus on their goals during chaotic times. This includes:
- Personalized solutions
- Using understandable language to explain investing and world events
- Implementing an appropriate investment philosophy
- Straightforward cost discussions

HOW WE DO IT
We believe choosing a financial advisor is a personal and important decision. Our process provides you and me with the opportunity to get to know each other without pressure. At our first meeting, we determine if we are a good fit for each other. Our second meeting focuses on how we work together to achieve what is important to you.

We love working with: professionals, executives, business owners and families. We also have a special place in our hearts for serving the needs of widows and widowers.

THE TEAM
I bring 20 years of banking and finance experience to Edward Jones. I earned accounting and finance degrees while competing nationally in track and cross country. Though seemingly unrelated, running taught me to appreciate consistency, planning, and focus on long-term goals.

My wife Karen, our 20-year-old cat, Izzy, and I live in Alma. Cat lovers will appreciate who rules our home. I have two grown children: John, a PHD candidate in biology, and Katie, a speech language pathology graduate student. I am proud of both of them.

Cathrine, my EJ partner, brings extensive banking experience. When not helping clients, she is raising her son, Mikel, and daughter, Chloe. In her spare time, Cathrine is a talented artist.

VOLUNTEERISM
Edward Jones encourages us to volunteer time, talent and treasure in our communities. I love serving:
