While working in my previous career as a registered dietitian, I began investing with Edward Jones and discovered a keen interest in personal finance. In 1999, I decided to turn my passion into a career and I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor. In 2003, I was invited to become a limited partner. My branch office ranks in the top 3% of the firm, and as a top female financial advisor, I have been invited to the Barron’s Top 100 Women’s Advisors Summit for the past 16 consecutive years. Each of the last three years I have also attended the Edward Jones Managing Partner’s Conference, an opportunity awarded only to the firm’s top 400 of 18,000 financial advisors. In 2015, I was honored with the Edward Jones Spirit of Caring Award, which recognizes financial advisors who exemplify the values, spirit and culture of giving back. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado, an AAMS® designation, and have my Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses.
My two senior branch office administrators, Connie Schott and Amanda Steele, are instrumental members of my team and, like myself, are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service. Passion, empathy, service and trust are the core values of our team. By building long-term, trusting relationships with our clients and their families, we work together to help them reach, maintain and exceed their financial goals.
My husband, Mike, and I were born and raised in Sterling and chose to raise our two daughters here as well. Our community is very important to us, and we enjoy giving back through our active participation in several local organizations, including First Presbyterian Church, Sterling Community Fund, Alzheimer’s Association and Rotary. Mike and I live on a farm near Sterling with our cats, dogs, horse and miniature donkeys and enjoy running, hiking, tennis, yoga and traveling, including trips to the west coast to visit our now grown daughters.
