I grew up being mentored in the area of savings, investing and giving. My parents helped me buy my first stock when I was fourteen and taught me the art of running my own small business as a teen, instilling values like integrity, dependability, accountability, humility and that people come first. Having the opportunity to live out these values and help my clients is why I became a financial advisor.
After receiving my bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, I had the privilege of working 12 years in the engineering field with three different fortune 500 companies. The skills and discipline it took to be a successful engineer are now used to help my clients achieve their goals.
Whether your goal is to achieve a successful retirement, transferring wealth to families and charities, or saving money on taxes, I will take time to understand what is most important to you. I’ll use an established process to help build your personalized strategies and partner with you throughout your life to help you stay on track. My comprehensive service may include collaborating with your accountants, attorneys and other trusted professionals to address each aspect of your financial goals. Helping you achieve your financial goals is an honor and a responsibility I take seriously.
Giving back to the community is important to me. I serve on the board of the Metro North Chamber and have a leadership position in my church. My wife and I help kids of trauma by co-leading an adoption and foster care ministry and are a licensed foster care family.
Outside of Edward Jones, I like to spend time with my wife, Natalie, and our five children. We enjoy doing things together, whether it's playing sports, singing and acting, being outside or Sunday dinner and movie nights. My wife and I are now working with our kids to instill the value of the financial principles that my parents taught me.
My team looks forward to meeting and exceeding your expectations.
