Being a life-long resident of Evart, I was blessed to establish an office in my hometown. What better way to spend my working years than serving the community I love. My volunteerism in this community spans several years, from the Michigan Main Street/DDA executive board and chamber to the Evart Reads program. My commitment to Evart runs deep.

So, how did this dream come true?

I turned the page on my career in the banking industry after roughly 21 years of serving the Mecosta and Osceola communities. I sought a more fulfilling career. Where could I go that allowed me to build personal relationships with people and make a positive impact on their lives while still making a positive impact on the lives of my family? To answer this, I had to consider my priorities and set some goals.

It boiled down to this:
1. Make an impact on people's lives by doing something that matters
2. Build a business in the community I love, my hometown of Evart, Michigan
3. Have a satisfying career that allowed me to have a balance between my work and my family

With these goals in mind, Edward Jones was answer. So, in early 2017, I courageously moved into a new chapter of my life.
