I grew up in a large family of nine kids. I was number seven of the nine. There was a lot of action in my house and not an abundance of personal space. You learned to get along and do your part to help. I had lots of hand-me-downs and patched knees in my jeans. We all had chores and jobs and learned from an early age the value of hard work. We didn't have tons of extras, but birthdays and holidays were always special and memorable. I love being from a large family, and I appreciate the lessons I learned working my way through high school and college. I learned early the value of a hard-earned dollar (or even fifty cents!).

I spent a part of my career in education, and one of the skills I honed was to be able to explain or breakdown complex topics into explanations that are easier to understand. As a financial advisor, it is extremely important for my clients to understand the information I am sharing and the strategy and solutions I am proposing. Educating my clients on their options and solutions is something that I take pride in.

I enjoy getting to know my clients. I believe it's important to invest my time to understand what you're working toward before you invest your money or I offer you a strategy or solutions. You are the most important part of your financial equation and investing strategy. Coming from a large family, I learned that each of us was unique and different. The same is true for each client. Each client and each situation are unique, and I look forward to getting to know my clients.

I was an Edward Jones client with hopes and dreams long before I was an Edward Jones financial advisor. The personal attention and dedication to my dreams kept me a client and led me to this career.
