I was like most high school children, engulfed with basketball practice and stock seminars. Yes, stock seminars. I was introduced to investing probably at an earlier age than most. My dad had turned a hobby of investing into a job for a period of time and I was tugging at his shirt asking him to teach me what the red and green numbers scrolling on the TV meant.
I graduated with a finance degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I applied that knowledge to help run a family business. In 2015, I decided to join Edward Jones. Of all the firms I interviewed with, they put their clients' interests first, allowed me to open an office in my community and serve with a personal connection that people still care about.
The families we help are goals-driven, serious long-term investors who value our advice. When I think about my children, I want our financial resources to be a tool to create positive influence. My clients feel the same way. So, we help families transfer their wealth responsibly and efficiently to the next generation.
When you decide to work with our practice, we start by understanding what is important to you. Then we use an established process to build a personalized strategy to achieve your financial goals. Together with my branch office administrator, Kristy Bodmer, we will be in your corner during important milestones in your life. When times get tough, you won't face them alone. I'll walk you through every step of the way.
We strive to make each client feel understood, informed, in control and secure so they can focus on areas that give them joy, meaning and purpose.
Outside of the office, I am spending time with my wife, Chelsea, and trying to be the best father I can be to our three children, Declan, Quinn and Gracie.
