My brother-in-law introduced me to the Edward Jones financial advisor opportunity in 2003. He’d been with the firm since 1994 and thought it would be the perfect place for me. He told me about a company that was cultivated and guided by its culture and a spirit of caring. A partnership focused first on doing what is in the best interest of its clients, followed by its employees and finally, the company. One big happy family. It all sounded too good to be true. It wasn’t. He was spot on. I was the second person in the family to join Edward Jones. I’m proud to say there are now seven family members serving at Edward Jones in some capacity, including my wife, Carolyn. It is one big family affair.

People often ask me what I like most about being with Edward Jones. Well, I truly enjoy helping my clients successfully achieve milestone moments in their lives and checking off some of those bucket list dreams. I build relationships with my clients based on trust by discussing their concerns and understanding the things that are most important to them.

My branch office administrator, Jori Buchanan, came to Edward Jones in the fall of 2021, bringing with her a passion for helping others. After learning about the Edward Jones spirit of caring and dedication to client service, she determined it was the perfect match and described the role as being "right up her alley." In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Luke, and their two kids, or tossing a ball for the family pup, a pit-bull named Vienna. In addition, Jori is a native Arizonan and also a self-proclaimed "nerd," who loves board games, escape rooms, sci-fi and fantasy stories, with "Lord of the Rings" topping her list of favorites. She is dedicated to providing our clients with the highest level of customer service.

I am originally from Michigan and am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I enjoy traveling and golf and I’m a passionate fan of Indy Car racing and the University of Michigan football program. Carolyn and I have two children and the cutest grandson in the world. We enjoy supporting a variety of local charitable organizations and are very proud of our success with the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program.

I’m a two-time past-president of the Superstition Mountain Rotary Club and also an active member of several other local organizations.
