I partner with successful families, executives and health care professionals to overcome complexity in an increasingly volatile investment environment to live their financial lives on their own terms by using an established process and personalized financial strategies.
Since joining Edward Jones in 2001, I’ve earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation. I’ve held leadership positions including training financial advisors, recruiting, development, diversity and inclusion. I’m also a limited partner. Prior to my financial services career, I spent two years in Japan working for the Japanese Embassy. I earned my B.S. in biology at Rockhurst University.
I grew up in a working-class household and the relationship my parents had with their financial advisor helped them to look at the future with anticipation instead of anxiety. Their financial success and legacy they left is a product of the relationship they had with their financial advisor. To that end, I’m passionate about helping my clients fulfill their purpose and leave a meaningful legacy.
I’ve called Kansas City home for more than 20 years. I care deeply about my community and have been a member of the Metropolitan Crime Commission, TIPs board of directors and the St. Thomas Moore School advisory board, and am the co-founder of the Planned Giving and Endowment Board. I serve on the Chairman’s Circle board of directors for the American Cancer Society and am vice president of Prairie Village Lacrosse. I’m also a member of St. Thomas Moore parish.
My wife, Elisa, and I have been married for 16 years and we have two children. Grant is 13 and plays lacrosse. Harper is 10 and plays soccer. We also have two dogs and a gecko. I enjoy ju-jitsu, woodworking, traveling, going to the lake with friends and family, and outdoor activities, especially snowboarding. Although these days, I spend less time on my snowboard and more time chauffeuring Grant and Harper around as their Uber driver.
