In addition to being an Edward Jones financial advisor, I am also a parent of four young children in the Glenwood school system, so I understand that worrying about your financial future comes with the territory. You want to provide the best future possible, both for your children and the community they’re going to grow up in. As a result, I’ve dedicated the last five years to the well-being of my neighbors through financial advice.
I originally started a career in finance because I enjoy working with numbers and complexity. The more I learned about this type of role and the importance of the blend of finances and personal coaching, the more I knew it was where I wanted to be. As a financial advisor, I now have the privilege of watching my friends and neighbors reach the goals that we’ve been working towards for years.
As an investor, you’re faced with the difficult job of separating your financial decisions from your emotions. Whether you’re planning for your retirement, trying to save enough to send your kids to college or open a business, balancing rationality with your biggest dreams is difficult. That’s why I do everything in my power to help my clients avoid fear-based decisions with empathy and facts. Emotion can be overwhelming, but with a little trust, I can help you remember to look at the big picture and see the situation more clearly.
Since beginning my career with Edward Jones in 2015, my branch administrator, Tina, and I have worked together to provide our clients across Glenwood and southwest Iowa hospitality and impeccable service. Tina does a fantastic job of keeping things organized and accurate. Together, we work to make sure all of our clients receive the best possible care.
Outside of the office, I like to dedicate time to my community through Glenwood Rotary and the Knights of Columbus, as well as spend time with my wife, Emily, and our five children. We stay very active with sports, dance and tumbling and spending time outside together.
