As a goal-loving person with an affinity for numbers, I’ve always sought ways to use my interests to make a difference. And of all the opportunities I’ve had to combine them, being an Edward Jones financial advisor—partnering with clients on the path to making their visions a reality—is by far the most rewarding.
Many who knew me as a teenager predicted my path would lead to finance, but after earning my bachelor’s degree in math sciences from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC) I took a slightly different path. I pursued a career in information technology, holding several positions, mostly at UNC, over a 12-year period.
By 2012 however, I realized I craved more personally fulfilling work, as well as a more entrepreneurial setting. I enrolled in Duke University’s Executive Certificate in Financial Planning; after completing it, and additional training, I began my career at Edward Jones in 2014. I later earned CFP® and ChFC® professional designations, as well as life, health and long-term care insurance licenses.
Today, my first priority is to listen well, and to get an understanding of your priorities and vision for your, and/or your family’s, future—and that is just the start. I’m proud to help provide well-researched guidance, backed by our extensive team and technology, that can help you prepare for retirement, children's education and other short- and long-term goals. I’ll work closely and collaboratively with you, as well as other trusted advisors like your attorney and accountant, every step of the way.
I’m a native of the Triangle area and avid UNC fan, and have long been active in local business and civic affairs. I am an Alzheimer’s Association supporter and a member of the Exchange Club of Greater Durham, whose Brews & Blues fundraiser helps raise money for charitable efforts in our area.
I and my team look forward to providing you with extraordinary service and hope you will call to schedule a time when we can discuss your needs.
