I started a banking career in 1989 as a branch manager for Windsor Federal Savings. I held positions with Fleet Bank, including branch manager and small business development officer, until 1998. I then joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor.
I attended Villanova University and received a BS in general science and a minor in business administration. I studied at the College for Financial Planning and attained the CFP® professional designation.
I am past president of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, past president of the First Town Downtown organization and current chairman of the Windsor Historical Society Finance Board.
My main hobby is open water swimming. In 1985, I became the first Connecticut resident to swim the English Channel. Since then, I have swum around Manhattan and across Boston Harbor, Chesapeake Bay and Long Island Sound.
I am married to my wife, Liza, and have two adult children.
