I had been working in the banking industry for sixteen years before I made the decision to join Edward Jones. I had always been interested in investments and realized Edward Jones would give me the opportunity to better help people and change lives. I became an Edward Jones financial advisor in 2001 and it became one of the best decisions I ever made.

I grew up in Reidsville and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics. I also attained my CFP® certification in 2011. In 1998, I married my wife, Wendy. We have two children, Collin and Ivy Claire. My wife and children are the other best decisions I ever made. We attend Reidsville Christian Church. I'm active in the Kiwanis Club of Reidsville where I have held numerous board positions. I spend my free time working out in the gym, spending time with family at the lake, traveling and scuba diving.

My branch office administrator, Joyce Paschal, joined me in the business in 2002. She previously had been in the banking business for 20 years. She has lived in Reidsville her entire life and enjoys spending time with her grandson, daughter and her son.
