I became a financial advisor in 2001 because I wanted to help friends and families avoid the same pitfalls that I went through in my early 20s playing professional football. I was given bad advice and put my money into investments that it shouldn't have been in.
I enjoy the integrated approach working with clients and being involved in their long-term and short-term goals. I love being part of the small-town community that I reside in. I value my clients' trust in me and their willingness to seek me out for advice even when it doesn't always relate to investments.
We identify our clients' needs by asking questions related to everything in their life. Once we define the client's needs, we analyze the information gathered. Then, we recommend a financial strategy. Once the strategy has been implemented, we continue to monitor the client's progress towards their goals and make any adjustments as needed to help ensure we establish deep and long-lasting relationships.
Our ideal clients are those who are serious about our advice and continue to execute their investment strategy.
We help our clients with protection of their assets from catastrophic events like market corrections and unexpected life events. Through insurance strategies, we can help reduce taxes and help with estate considerations by gifting to loved ones and transferring assets over time.
My branch office administrator, Hilary, started working at Edward Jones in 2014. She is a mother of three and her family enjoys many outdoor activities, especially snowmobiling and dirt bikes.
My wife's name is Deborah. I have four children, eight grandchildren and one dog. I grew up in Richland, WA in a family of 13 kids. Five of us boys attended University of Hawaii on football scholarships from '78-'91. Four of us went on to play in the NFL. Now we all currently follow our boys in their high school and college football careers.
