My journey to Edward Jones started when I was growing up. I remember my dad going to see his “stockbroker” and checking the ticker tape to see how his investments were doing. I also remember my grandfather complaining about the stock quotes in the newspaper. Their passion sparked my own financial curiosity, and I found myself learning a lot about investment as I worked my way from a teenager manning the bag room at a local country club to Assistant PGA Professional. Being surrounded by successful people all talking business made me realize how much drive you need to succeed, which led me to eventually open a custom golf club business in Jupiter, FL. There, I saw firsthand the kind of dedication and work that’s necessary to build a small business, and after a decade, I began a career in the banking industry that would last 15 years. There, my passion developed into a love for entrepreneurs and their dreams, which continues today through my dedication to continued learning and growth, including obtaining a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor professional designation.
