Growing up in a small town in rural Iowa, there was one local "expert" whom my grandmother always trusted and relied upon for advice to help guide her through retirement – it was her local Edward Jones financial advisor. I was keenly aware of this and, years later, while in college studying finance, I spent a summer working in his Edward Jones branch, learning the ropes.
Life took me in many different directions following that summer – a career in medical practice management, followed by a transition into wealth management for a private investment firm in Orlando, Florida. But in 2017, when I made the decision to move back to the Midwest, I saw the opportunity to return to Edward Jones as a financial advisor to help those who, like my grandmother, needed the advice and guidance of someone they could trust.
While my career at Edward Jones started just a few years ago, my previous experience in wealth management has helped me as I guide clients that are working through more complex financial situations. Working with my branch office administrator, Nancy Pitaro, in Glen Ellyn, we enjoy helping clients who are saving for and/or living in retirement, saving for their child's education and working with small business owners and successful professionals to build a financial strategy to best meet their goals.
I live in Wheaton with my wife, Keri, and our two kids, Ian (9) and Allison (6), and enjoy spending time with them as much as possible. I enjoy coaching my kids' sports teams and staying active in many outdoor activities, including golf and fishing. I am currently an elder at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, on the board at the Kiwanis of Central DuPage, a member of the board of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Steering Committee for the Next Generation Initiative with the DuPage Foundation.
I invite you to contact our office to discuss how we can help you achieve your most important financial goals; I look forward to our conversation.
