I grew up here in the Gila Valley and am a small-town Pima boy through and through. Since I was young, I’ve always been thrifty and saved any money I possibly could. I didn’t realize at the time that my money could be doing more than sitting in a bank account – it could be working for me!

I began my career with Edward Jones in 2007, after I graduated from ASU. I started building my business right in the thick of the Great Recession of 2008. This opened my eyes to how emotional people can be when the world is in commotion and things are uncertain. The best part of my job is getting to know people and see what gets them excited. I want to learn what is most important to each client and what their goals are. My mission is to help people avoid emotional investing and day-to-day worry by building a long-term investment strategy that will weather the storms to come so that they can reach their long-term financial goals.

We gratefully welcomed Tara Waggoner to our branch team in 2019. She is intelligent, friendly, hardworking and picks things up incredibly quickly. She never has a bad day and is always ready to do anything she can to help our clients.

My wife, Teonna, and I have been married since 2004 and we have been blessed with six amazing kids. When I’m not taking care of clients, I love spending time with my family, especially outdoors. Anything that has wheels or grows gets me excited and puts a smile on my face.
