What happens when a teacher, life coach and entrepreneur gains the knowledge and skills of a financial advisor?

I know what it is to be an entrepreneur – to leave the security of employment and strike out on your own path, bootstrapping, duct-taping and building the plane while you fly it. After devoting countless hours to growing a client base, delivery systems, running your program, selling products, managing your team and the back-end of your business, have you made time to figure out what to do with the money that you're making, to ensure that the money you've generated is working for you and truly protected in case anything happens to you?

Do you know how to get your money to work as well for you as you work for it? Do you know how to limit costly risks? Do you know how life could change, not just for you but for generations after you, if you had access to the knowledge and techniques that grow and protect wealth?

I approach my work with a teacher's heart and skillset. One client said she learned more about investing in our first appointment than in 20 years working with her previous advisor. I strive to help my clients understand the key concepts we discuss. My knowledge is of no value if you don't understand the ideas and strategies we use to help achieve your dreams with your dollars.

I envision a practice where I inspire my clients, and they inspire me. How can we work together to use resources to bring more generosity and compassion to the world? How can we achieve bigger dreams for ourselves, our families and our communities?

I am active in many organizations in Asheville that promote youth development, gender equity and support the growth entrepreneurs and small businesses.

My husband, Leigh, and I have a toddling daughter, Lila, a scruffy dog, Lulu, and a vocal cat, Lil Grey. As a former instructor with Outward Bound, I love to get up on the Blue Ridge Parkway with my family and explore the trails of the Pisgah National Forest when we can.
