After graduating from Wright State University, I began my career as a civilian Airborne Radar Engineer located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. After eight years as an engineer, I transitioned to a new career with Edward Jones in 1997 to grow my own business while also helping the community.

I can help with retirement and estate strategies, capitalizing on my 23 years of experience in the industry. We maintain trusted partnerships with our clients' estate planning attorneys and CPAs. Working together with our clients, we will use an established 5-step process to help guide them from where they are currently to meeting their financial goals. As an Eagle Scout, I believe in and practice the motto: Be Prepared. Utilizing solutions-based advice, along with my branch office administrator, Julie Pierce, our practice is dedicated to providing first-class service.

Throughout my time with Edward Jones, I have held numerous leadership positions and mentored fellow financial advisors. In addition, I continually build upon my education as a financial advisor. I believe that it is important to be knowledgeable and updated in order to make the best decisions to help clients meet their goals.

I have served as a trustee on the Daycroft School Board and as a board member of the Aphasia Friendship Community Center, Ann Arbor Film Festival and Polo Fields Homeowners Association. Prior to moving to Michigan, I volunteered on the Human Relations Board in my hometown of Springfield, Ohio. I was also an executive board member for Tecumseh Council, Boy Scouts of America. To this day, I remain involved with the local chapter of Scouts, BSA in my hometown.

I live in Ann Arbor with my wife, Mary. We have been married for 11 years and have a daughter, Sadie. I enjoy traveling and am passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise and diet.

Give us a call or stop by the branch. We look forward to serving you and your family.
