During my two decades in the financial services industry, I've sat across my desk from a number of people who were trying to make ends meet in retirement and who would often say "I wish I had started thinking about my finances earlier in life." That experience was a direct motivator for me to focus my efforts on working with individuals and businesses concerning their investment strategies and financial planning. Since 2012, I have had the opportunity to help people achieve their financial goals. Whether it is saving for retirement, reducing taxes or saving for a child's education, my clients value the personal and professional advice that they receive from a local financial advisor.
While my previous experience helped me recognize the importance of a local financial advisor and led me down that path, a piece of advice I received as a young man has helped to shape how I run my office. That advice was "Run to the problem." My clients want a financial advisor that is proactive in reaching out to them and ensuring that they are engaged in the process. I am not a reactive advisor who is constantly responding to ever-changing market conditions. Rather, my clients and I create a long-term strategy that addresses short-term, medium and long-term needs and puts a specific plan in place to address all phases of life.
My wife, JoAnne, who is a local RN, grew up in Farmington and I have been here since the late 1990s. Our two daughters have grown up here and we are committed to this community. I also have the privilege to serve on the board of directors for the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the RSU 9 School Board.
At Edward Jones, we value personal relationships based on a deep understanding of your unique financial needs. I can develop a solutions-based approach tailored to your individual goals and provide exceptional service. I would love to hear from you if you are looking to build a long-term relationship with a local financial advisor.
