My dad taught me many valuable lessons that continue to inspire my work daily. He was the "richest" man I have ever known; rich in the sense of having lived a life full of what was most important to him – family, friends, faith and farming.

My clients, parents and 28 years of experience have taught me that helping my clients earn their best return on life is what I enjoy most about being a financial advisor.

Today, I find my knowledge is best suited for clients that want me to look holistically at their financial picture. Most of my clients have multiple and evolving goals, so this is why I believe it is important to invest time to understand what is important to my clients, and why. Then, I connect my ongoing advice and guidance to their goals. Often times, this includes a strategy to help protect their goals from the unexpected. To provide this comprehensive service, I regularly collaborate with my client's accountants, attorneys and other trusted professionals.

All this is possible with the vast resources of Edward Jones and an experienced and caring team of several client support team members, including Lynette Stevens, Kathy Hovell, Polly Howe, Jamie Hess and Lexi Partington.

I began my career with Edward Jones in 1994 and earned my CFP® designation in 2012. Within Edward Jones, I’ve served in several leadership roles and currently serve as an area leader, supporting and guiding more than 500 branch teams in parts of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin. I have been invited to every Edward Jones Financial Advisor Leaders Conference and to six Barron’s Top Women Advisor Summits. In addition, I was named to 2023 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State* ranking in Minnesota.

On a personal note, my husband, Steve, and I are now “empty nesters." Ben and Erin attend our alma mater, Iowa State University. Rachel graduated from Iowa State University and now lives in Tulsa, OK. We enjoy spending time outdoors, golf and visiting family, especially our kids, which usually involves catching a college game.
