One of the privileges of my job is seeing pictures of my clients’ grandkids and retirement homes and hearing about their travels and hobbies. I don’t just help my clients manage their financial picture, I help give them the financial flexibility to enjoy their passions.
After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Sioux Falls at the age of 20 with a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing, then trading on the floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange for three years, I chose to return to Aberdeen to have a more lasting impact on the people in my home community.
My father, Bill Edwards, has been a financial advisor with Edward Jones for over 40 years. His example was an inspiration for me to earn my CFP® and ChFC® professional designations and build my own meaningful client relationships.
I am an Edward Jones principal. In addition to serving my clients, I work with a group of nine other leaders in our home office to develop and ensure execution of the firm's strategy to ultimately create client value.
My background is an advantage to the custom-designed portfolios I help my clients create. I listen, care and wholeheartedly dedicate myself to helping my clients achieve their definition of financial success. My clients often come to me during times of transition, such as retirement or receiving an inheritance. I enjoy the challenge of developing complex, high net worth strategies which often require collaboration with other professionals such as CPAs and attorneys.
I have qualified for ten Managing Partner’s Conferences recognizing the firm’s top 400 financial advisors. I have received invitations to 10 Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summits. I was recently named as one of Barron's top 1,200 Financial Advisors.
My personal passions include my husband, Jason, and our family. We play a lot of tennis and have aspirations of visiting all 63 of the U.S. National Parks.
