I have been a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 1997, opening the second branch in the Santa Ynez Valley, my home for over 40 years.
To better serve my clients, I earned the CFP® professional designation in 2006, and completed the ChFC® designation in 2019. Prior to joining Edward Jones, I graduated from LIFE Bible College with an associate in Biblical Studies.
My job allows me the privilege to create long-lasting relationships with my clients and their families, and see generations of them go to college, save for travels, enjoy their hobbies and retire with dignity. Our relationships start with identifying what is most important to them, and then building customized strategies to help them achieve those goals. I partner with my clients throughout their lives to help them they stay on track. I enjoy the challenge of developing complex, comprehensive strategies which often include the collaboration with other professionals such as CPAs and attorneys.
I was named a limited partner of Edward Jones in 2003. I have qualified for five consecutive years to attend the Edward Jones Women's Conference, an honor reserved for the top 250 female financial advisors in the firm.
I serve the community I grew up in through membership in the Santa Ynez Valley Rotary Club. I sponsor the Santa Ynez Valley Union High School's Student of the Month program and have volunteered with the YMCA's annual Campaign for Youth since 2005. The Solvang Friendship House holds a special place in my heart, and I have supported the annual Nashville Nights and Artist Reception for many years.
With Edward Jones, I have served in several volunteer roles, helping other branch teams develop their businesses and recruiting and hiring new financial advisors.
My team includes senior branch office administrator, Jessie Skidmore, who has over 17 years in the financial services industry.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my husband, Dave, traveling, cooking and enjoying the outdoors.
