Born and raised in Central Wisconsin, I learned at a young age the importance of hard work and the fruits that come from one's labor. One of my first jobs was milking cows on a dairy farm. It was exciting and dirty, and I experienced the gratification that comes from a long day of work.

I have always had a sense of wonderment for the world and a deep passion and respect for the outdoors. At the age of 18, alone with a backpack and rubber boots, I found myself on an airplane headed to Alaska to work at a fish processing plant in Bristol Bay. Little did I know that this life changing adventure would mold me into the hard working and dedicated woman I am today.

In 2008 I joined Edward Jones as financial advisor in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2015, with a wonderful career at hand and an Alaskan husband in tow, I relocated my business to Alexandria so we could be closer to our aging parents and families.

My husband, Shiloh, has a penchant for reading, writing and a knack for fixing all things. He stays active caring for our animals on our hobby farm. He always has dirty hands, but a clean soul. Whether its chores, gardening, chopping wood or outdoor adventures, I am grateful I get to create and enjoy my story with him.

My Senior Branch Office Administrator, Jamie Tikkanen, loves working with clients and is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of customer service. Her background in social work enhances our branch's strengths in human-centeredness. She and her family have resided in Alexandria for over 25 years.

Sarah Perrou is our part-time Branch Office Administrator. Sarah is a college student at Alex Technical College and is excited about the opportunity to work with you in fulfilling your administrative needs.
