My proudest moments as a financial professional have little to do with investment performance or growing portfolios (although those are nice, too!). Instead, they have come in seeing my clients’ bucket lists come to life, whether they’re buying an RV and hitting the road for a retirement adventure, taking a work sabbatical to pursue a philanthropic passion, helping a child realize their college dream or even retiring a little sooner than expected.

Moments like these are the result of always putting the best interests of my clients first, of serving them with skill, honesty, objectivity and diligence, and of supporting them with world-class service and technology.

What I’ve found in my close to 15 years serving individuals, couples and families in Northern Colorado is that skill in helping clients build and transfer their wealth, develop and execute a retirement strategy and manage their assets is only part of the job description. Trust, ethics, accountability and empathy are just as important. Those qualities have helped me build a practice that today is full of loyal clients.

Helping people is something I do outside the office as well, as an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church. My wife of 20 years, Kelly, and I have three children that keep us busy, smiling and proud. Somehow, I still find time to play a little golf, train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and travel.
