As a financial advisor I enjoy spending time with my clients and providing education around the topics of planning and investing. In an ever-changing world it is important to have a consistent and reliable resource to help guide you through. I strive to be that resource to my clients and their families as well as the community.

I began my Edward Jones career in 2012 as a financial advisor in Waterloo, IA. After a move to central Iowa and to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015, I was fortunate to be able to be able to re-join Edward Jones here on Main Street in Ames in March 2020. I'm proud to once again work for Edward Jones.

My wife, Laura, and I are both from Eastern Iowa originally, but we have become Central Iowans through and through. Go Cyclones! We have two daughters, Oswin and Ingrid, and a Chihuahua mix, Dexter. We enjoy visiting family in Vinton, IA, Fort Collins, CO, Nashville, TN and Brookings, SD. Many of our summer nights are spent at the softball field where my wife and I enjoy playing slow pitch softball.

I attended Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in finance as well as minors in accounting and economics. In 2013 I received the Lion of the Year Award from the Waterloo Lions Club.

In 2014 I completed the AAMS® Designation. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.
