When it comes to financial advising, I like to joke that I’ve been preparing for this career since I was 8 years old. That was the year I decided I wanted the coolest toy money could buy — a Coleco Electronic Quarterback game — and I knew I’d have to save up the $100 to buy it myself. For an 8-year-old, $100 might as well be $10,000, but after months of scraping and saving every birthday check, I had $75 in bills and $25 in penny rolls to proudly exchange at Sears for my video game.
That drive to work hard and spend responsibly grew with me, from picking up a grocery-bagging job at 10 to spending 20 years working for two of the world’s largest public accounting firms. As I’ve grown, so has my knowledge of finance, and I’ve been able to offer high school students and community members courses on financial literacy and investing. Now, as a financial advisor, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge with my clients, giving them opportunities to put their money to work towards whatever their financial goals may be.
My Carpentersville office serves diverse investors from across Chicagoland, as well as out-of-state clients who prefer to work remotely. I couldn’t do it without our branch office administrator, Janice, who brings both passion and energy to caring for our clients. Whether we’re partnering with business owners, families with complex financial needs, nonprofits or individual investors, my job starts with listening to our clients and creating a strategy tailored to their individual needs. Whether the goal is building wealth, sending your kids to college or retiring comfortably, we’re honored to have the opportunity to serve you. Call us today at (847) 844-0706 to set up an appointment.
Outside of the office, I am a proud father who loves keeping active fishing, traveling and exercising. I’m also a volunteer board member for the Ada S. McKinley foundation, whose mission is to empower, educate and employ people to change lives and strengthen communities.
