In 1997, I started with Edward Jones as a summer intern between my junior and senior years of college. After graduating from Bradley University with a degree in finance, I joined Edward Jones on a full-time basis in 1998. I spent my first year training and gaining extensive knowledge and experience in various departments through Associate Career Training, or, as it is now called, the Rotational Development Program. In 1999, I started working in the Saint Louis headquarters in corporate bonds and in 2001, I became a financial advisor in Creve Coeur, MO, where I have been serving individual investors ever since.
I earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc, which awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.
My greatest satisfaction in this industry comes when I am able to help clients identify the pieces of their personal financial puzzle and helping them put those pieces in place to achieve their long-range financial goals.
I have been a member of and have served on the board of directors of the Overland Rotary Club and was a long-time sponsor of the Parkway Schools Athlete of the Month. I have enjoyed participating in fundraising events for the Central Institute for the Deaf and I actively support the Arts and Education Council and United Way, including having served as a regional coordinator for the Edward Jones United Way Campaign.
My wife, Tiffany, and I live in Kirkwood where we have put much time and effort into renovating our house. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, golfing, and Cardinals baseball.
