As a boy, I was introduced to saving and investing by my great aunt. Understanding and learning how she saved a little from each paycheck and invested for her future taught me the power of setting objectives and implementing strategies to achieve success. My grandfather was also instrumental in my development. He taught me the value and honor in taking care of others and helping your community. Those early life lessons set me on my life and career path.
My wife and I became Edward Jones clients soon after being married at the age of 22. In 2003, I made a career change and joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in order to follow my passion to help others. I also hold the CFP® professional designation.
My branch team includes Senior Branch Office Administrator, Laura Aldecoa, who has served clients with me since 2006. My highest priority is to understand what is most important to our clients, work through an established process to develop personalized financial strategies and partner with our clients for the long term in order to reach their goals. I help clients save for retirement as well as implement strategies to maximize retirement income.
I have been married to my wife, Teri, for over 25 years. Our twin son and daughter, Morgan and Spencer, are attending college. While raising our children, I had the greatest pleasure helping others and giving back to the community by volunteer coaching both soccer and baseball for over 10 years. I also volunteer for the Stuart C. Gildred Family YMCA Board of Managers. As empty nesters, my wife and I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, and have a goal to visit all 30 major league baseball stadiums. Other passions include trail running, backpacking and cycling.
