In 1998, I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor. I have served on our regional leadership team and became a limited partner with Edward Jones in 2007.

I attended Missouri State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business and economics. In 2006, I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ or CFP® certification. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board’s requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.

My wife, Robyn, and I have two children, Ally Brighton and Denby. Our daughter owns and operates Twisted Willow Boutique in Republic. Our son has a show cattle and breeding stock business. Our family is active in the community, including the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Aurora FFA Boosters and Aurora United Methodist Church. I currently serve as a member and past president of the Aurora School Board. We enjoy showing Simmental and Maine-Angus cattle on a state and national level and participating in breed association activities.
