As a financial advisor who has earned the CFP® designation, I work tirelessly to help families and businesses achieve their financial goals.
My focus starting with the first conversation is to understand what's most important to you. Then we develop a strategy to help achieve your goals, using my established process and staying within your risk comfort zone. When appropriate, a professional team is assembled so that taxes, estate strategies and other considerations are components of the strategy, always keeping personal information confidential. We'll partner together throughout your life to keep you on track.
Frequently, I'm asked to help with retirement planning, saving for education, getting in a position to start a business, buy a second home further south and making sure families are ready if the worst should happen. I regularly work with multi-generational families to develop strategies of wealth transfer and with business owners to create strategies for business succession, asset growth and tax reduction.
I began my career as an Edward Jones financial advisor in 2013. Prior to that, I was employed in banking and financial consulting for over 20 years. My bachelor's degree is from Augustana University here in Sioux Falls, and my MBA from Creighton University in Omaha. In addition, I earned the CFP® and AAMS® professional designations to better serve my clients.
Outside of my roles with Edward Jones, I enjoy spending time with my active family, watching my sons play sports, kayaking, riding bikes, traveling, reading and volunteering in the Sioux Falls community. My husband, Brian, works at EROS Data Center, our oldest two, Kayli and Mitchell, are in college and Sawyer is in high school.
