My family and I love calling Ashe County, NC, home. Building my business in West Jefferson is certainly a true blessing. Over the course of my career, I have had the chance to assist communities all across the country, but the trip back home was always sweetest as the mountains started to appear in my windshield.

Growing up in this region has given me an understanding of our culture and greatest resource, our people. I grew up in Chilhowie, VA, and made North Carolina my home when I came to Appalachian State University, where I graduated in 1999. After a few years of following dreams off the mountain, I realized this is where I belong and our family has hung our hats in Fleetwood ever since.

Prior to becoming a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I was a client for 15 years. My wife, Brittnee, and I always enjoyed our yearly reviews with our financial advisor. In fact, he was the one who recruited me to join the firm. So, I know what it is like to sit across the desk from a financial advisor to discuss your dreams for the future.
