As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it’s important to invest my time to understand what you’re working toward before you invest your money. Strategies include retirement planning, college savings, estate considerations, or leaving a legacy for your loved ones. Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family.

I am a native of the Georgetown area and I love it here. Earlier in my life, I helped run a grocery store on Highmarket Street here in town. This family business was built on relationships and customer service. These two components are now the pillars of my business. Due to good old fashioned hard work and integrity, my team and I have been fortunate to build a successful practice here in Georgetown.

After graduating from Waccamaw High School and being voted as "most friendly" by my peers, I attended Wingate University. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree and became a member of the National Scholars Honor Society. A few years later, I received the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ professional designation.

Throughout my 14-year career at Edward Jones, I've received the Spirit of Partnership Award, Century Award, Senior Founder's Award, Ed Armstrong Award and the Jack Phelan Award. I currently serve as a key leader in my region as the culture of compliance leader. I have also been a performance leader, a growth leader and a mentor for new financial advisors.

In 2019, I was asked to become a limited partner in the firm.

My wife, Lauren, and I have three children, Madeline, Cecilia and Bodhi. We enjoy spending time with family, going to the beach, boating and camping. I also coach soccer, sponsor local youth sports teams and the Alzheimer's Association.

My branch office administrator, Kim Smith, is a graduate of Coker College with over 20 years of industry experience. Kim is married to husband, Ted, and they have two daughters, Abby and Tori. They enjoy boating, fishing, camping and coaching softball. She volunteers as a mentor for the region and is also a limited partner in the firm.

Our practice is aligned to help us understand and meet our clients' unique goals and needs, while providing highly personal, face-to-face service.
