I earned a bachelor's degree in the College of Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I also retain the designation of AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist), which is awarded to individuals by the College for Financial Planning who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education. I volunteer within Edward Jones as a field trainer leader and mentor for our region.

I have supported the local North Vermilion Youth Athletic Association for 11 years including coaching. I also volunteer with Dreams Come True, the Alzheimer's Association, Knights of Columbus and the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce, where I graduated from the Leadership Vermilion program last year.

My wife, Tiffany, and I have been married 19 years and have three children: Macy (15), Kayla (12), and Lainey (9). I love to play golf; however, I spend my time coaching my daughters and being a part of their passions along with my wife's aspirations.
