I am so grateful to have a career that allows me to work with wonderful people - my clients! It is amazing to think that I started with Edward Jones way back in 1999. It seems like only yesterday.

After my wife, Cathy, and I attained our bachelor's degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, we moved back to New Madrid County to begin our careers in 1981. Cathy taught elementary school and I worked in my family's agriculture business. It was in 1999 that I was given the incredible opportunity by Edward Jones to fulfill my dream of helping people to achieve their financial goals.

Along the way, our son, Matthew, and his wife, Marsha, have blessed us with two adorable granddaughters. When not working, I cherish the time that Cathy and I spend with the girls.

It is because of this love of family that even after 21 years as a financial advisor, I am more driven to help folks maneuver through the ins and outs of putting together a financial strategy that will serve them and their families for years to come. The input that Edward Jones and I provide is what makes me passionate about my responsibilities.

Through the years I've been fortunate to see my clients achieve their goals. It is a joy for me to watch them experience these, whether it's the type of retirement they had planned for or paying for the college they always wanted for their children or grandchildren, or whatever they had envisioned. And it is at these times that I step back to appreciate with great humbleness the trust that my clients have placed with me.
