I came to Edward Jones in 2006 after 25 years in the financial services industry. Edward Jones gives me the opportunity to live where I always lived and continue to work in our community. I grew up and have family and friends here. This is where I want to be.
My wife, Susan, and I have been married almost 40 years. We live in a house her great grandparents built in 1921. We have three adult children, who, with their spouses, have given us six wonderful grandchildren.
Working with clients through our established process and helping them meet their financial goals and live the lives they can afford is serious business. I take my role in the process seriously and work to know what is most important to my clients and will tailor solutions in their best interests with the tools available to us.
I am, and have been my entire adult life, active in several organizations in the community. My experience includes volunteer and elected positions in the Community Foundation, school board, chamber of commerce, a state-wide foundation and campus board of a community college, a health clinic board, Rotary, economic development, the county board of commissioners and roles in our church. I don't see myself as exceptional in this regard, but willing and committed to organizations trying to make our community better. I learned early in my career that our community provides me an opportunity to earn a living. My community service is an investment in, and a repayment for, the opportunity to live and work here.
I am committed to my clients. I work with them and for them to deliver Edward Jones advice and opportunities in way that fits their needs and can be used to help make their lives financially predictable and sound.
