As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it's important to invest my time in understanding what you're working for before you invest your money. It is also important to understand the level of risk you're comfortable accepting when investing, so we can balance it with the steps necessary to reach your long-term goals.
I earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University at College Station in 1986 and served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army for 26 years before retiring as a lieutenant colonel. The values and discipline instilled in me during those life experiences, along with the culture at Edward Jones, has enabled me to best care for my clients. I keep clients' needs in mind, whether they are preparing for or living in retirement, saving to send a child to college or preparing their estate. My branch office administrator, Cheri, and I strive to provide an ideal client experience to every client. We are fortunate to be able to serve the Texarkana community.
Originally from Marshall, TX, my wife, Kelly, and I have lived in Texarkana since 1999. It is where we have raised our five children and welcomed three grandchildren. I am actively serving our community as a member of Kiwanis and have served in the past as president and board member of Pleasant Grove Athletic Booster Club, an assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America, a Dixie Youth baseball coach and an American Legion baseball coach.
I know things in your life change over time, and I highly encourage you to meet regularly with a financial advisor. I welcome the opportunity to learn about you and your financial priorities. It all starts with a conversation – let's visit.
