If you are like me, you learned a lot from your parents growing up, like how to ride a bike, throw a ball or where to find the best ice cream in town. They tried to get you to do well in school or create a good work ethic because their experience said those traits would be important later in life.
When I joined Edward Jones as an associate in our home office, I quickly realized that one area they had not spent a lot of time discussing with me was how to prepare for my future. Specifically, they never told me that I needed create a plan to retire.
This came into full focus when my dad retired in 1999 and came to me for advice. As I was still an associate in our home office, I referred him to a financial advisor in our home town of Union, MO. It was through that process that I realized what I wanted to do with my career at Edward Jones.
In 2002, I started my journey of helping people in St. Charles to set goals and plan for the most important aspects of their financial lives. I love helping clients create a strategy for retirement, pay for their children's education or any number of other goals they believe are most important to them.
My branch office administrator, Mikayla Tillman, has been with me since 2018 and is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible. Her welcoming personality and diverse skillset helps provide our clients with an exceptional and personalized experience. Together, we believe it is critically important to partner with all of our clients to create, monitor and adjust a strategy based on their life's unique goals and dreams.
My wife, Kym, and I have two girls - Elyzabeth and Reagan. When I'm not at the office, you can typically find us working on some sort of remodeling project, travelling or sitting at our backyard fire pit.
We attend Waypoint Church where I serve as a Deacon and Kym is a leader on our In His Service team who use their talents in the kitchen to serve our congregation and local community.
