I grew up in the Detroit Lakes area and attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with bachelor's degrees in economics and in business management. I joined Edward Jones in 2000 as a marketing assistant at a Detroit Lakes branch office. In 2001, I began my career as a financial advisor, opening the second branch office in town.

Over the years, my business has grown to the point where I've partnered three times with new financial advisors to help further serve the Detroit Lakes area. In 2011, I was offered the opportunity to become a limited partner in The Jones Financial Companies, LLLP.

I'm fortunate to have a talented staff working with me at our office. Branch office administrators Julie Field and Angel Pechia are both dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service and will work diligently to ensure all of the administrative aspects regarding your accounts are met efficiently and accurately. Julie has been with our office since 2004 and Angel came on board in 2018.

My wife, Nicole, and I have two sons, Vincent (15) and Jack (12). We feel very fortunate to live in Detroit Lakes. In addition to my work at Edward Jones, I've also been very active in the Detroit Lakes Breakfast Rotary Club, having served as club president and foundation chair. I've also served as president of the Lakes Curling Club, and am on the board of directors for the Northern Lights Council of The Boyscouts of America. I enjoy fishing, hunting, alpine skiing and being involved in the many activities of our children.
