How may I be of service to you?
As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it is central to our working relationship to deeply invest my time in understanding what your financial goals are before you invest your money. Those goals may be personal or, as an entrepreneur, for your business.
I provide highly personalized service. Relationships are key, and in my view, meeting face-to-face or virtually at my client's request builds strong relationships. I meet when it’s convenient for my clients because I recognize the challenging needs of their work and personal lives.
My husband, Clark, and I are Rockford natives, and we continue to make Rockford home for our family.
I attained a bachelor's degree from Bradley University and my MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. I have been investing personally since high school when my economics teacher spent a portion of a semester on stocks and bonds. Imagine my parents' surprise when I came home and said I needed their help to open an investment account with my summer job money!
As a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist ™ professional and having career experience administering employee benefit plans from inside companies, I assist business owners and nonprofits in establishing a retirement program that attracts and retains quality employees.
As an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ professional, I work hard to ensure my clients are invested properly for their personal goals and needs.
I also achieved the designation of Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional™, which includes an in-depth study of investing topics such as the foundations of behavioral finance, investor behaviors, common cognitive and emotion-based investor considerations, as well as real-world applications for investing and retirement planning.
I am deeply committed to our community. I currently serve on the boards of directors for Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful, the American Association of University Women and the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence, and have been able to support several other organizations in past years.
