I entered the financial world in 1996. Early in my career, I was living in Long Island, NY, where I had grown up, working for a regional savings bank in the New York area. I was then offered a position with The Bank of New York where I worked for about 10 years. When The Bank of New York sold the retail branches to Chase, I was able to get a job with MetLife working in the education system and doing retirement planning for the school employees, grades K through 12. I spent around 10 years with MetLife. At that point in my life, my wife and I decided to leave the state of New York and head south to the Carolinas. We looked in Myrtle Beach as well as Charlotte area. We ended up moving to the Charlotte area in 2019, buying a home in Indian Land, SC.

Having 25-plus years in the business, and living through many bull and bear markets, I wanted a local presence to help my clients invest for their future. I reached out to Edward Jones where I felt I would be able to help people reach their financial goals. With the Charlotte area growing so fast and having so many people moving in from all over the country, I felt I would be able to make a major impact within the community. I look forward to helping people reach their goals for financial freedom as well as retirement goals, and I would love the opportunity to meet and be able to review your current investments as well as set up a new plan to cover short- and long-term goals. Please feel free to reach out – it does not cost you anything to have your current investments reviewed to make sure they are meeting your goals to cover your needs.

On our time off, my wife and I like to enjoy the outdoors as well as what the city of Charlotte has to offer. Since we are new to the area, we feel like tourists. We also look forward to exploring further, since the mountains and beaches are only a few hours away. One of the main reasons for leaving New York was that we do not care for the cold and were looking for an area that was growing that does not get bad winters. I am also a car collector. I have a 1972 Chevelle convertible as well as a 2006 Mustang convertible that get a lot more use here than in the New York area. I also attend some of the local auto events like Cars and Coffee in Waxhaw and Rock Hill. I live with my wife, Karen, and my rescue dog, a German Shepard Boxer mix – his name is Bandit.
