My primary goal as a financial advisor is to educate. I want you, as a client, to understand your situation better when you leave my office. Additionally, my goal is to provide a better understanding of the tools available and build a personalized long-term strategy. Utilizing my analytical background and skills, along with backing of Edward Jones and the entire support team, financial strategies and management are tools available to help you achieve your goals.
Before becoming a financial advisor, I grew up in small-town Iowa. I was active in all facets of school (sports, music, academics, etc.). Away from school, there was always work. Whether it was walking beans, bailing hay, cleaning horse stalls, installing fences, building grain bins or just simply counting cows in the deep cold of winter, there was always work to be done. Growing up in a farming community, I learned about work ethic, integrity and the importance of community.
I left the Midwest farm life for the military and a new community. I served in the US Army from 1992 to 1996, then supported DoD contracting efforts for over 20 years.
I chose to become a financial advisor to utilize my critical analysis skills and experience, my interest in the financial markets and investing, and my strong desire to serve my community.
Whether it is retirement, education or other financial goals, or just preparing for the unexpected, having a strategy is imperative. Helping you understand your situation and develop a strategy to meet your goals is my number one priority as a financial advisor.
As a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist™ professional, a major focus of my practice is to bring value to business retirement plans in the community.
Each employer has different goals for its retirement plan. Those goals could revolve around attracting and retaining employees, helping your employees achieve retirement readiness, or maximizing tax incentives for both the employer and the employees. Understanding what’s important to the business is the first step in helping you achieve long−term success for your retirement plan.
I want to be sure that your strategy works best for you, as the result is a positive for you, your company and our community. As a financial advisor, I enjoy serving the community. Contact my office and we can discuss your situation, your goals and how I can serve you.
