We pride ourselves on being excellent listeners. Listening to you share your most important goals for your family is our strength. We believe it's important to have a thorough understanding of what you're working towards in order to provide you with comprehensive financial advice.
By doing so, we aim to create a uniquely crafted financial strategy for you. I draw upon my over 20 years of financial services experience working with stocks, real estate investment trusts, insurance, mutual funds and retirement plans, as well as fixed-income investments including municipal bonds, corporate bonds, government securities and guaranteed investment contracts.
Together with my branch office administrator, Bernadette Bailey, we like to position ourselves as the financial conductor of your family's orchestra, and in that capacity, we work closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals. In support of this teamwork, we offer estate valuation services and the registration of securities. We offer consultations with our Client Consultation Group for complex, high net worth financial needs.
We are also adept at serving businesses and other entities in their goal of providing employees with an appropriate employer retirement plan. We can assist in determining whether a 401(k), 403(b), 457, SIMPLE IRA or SEP IRA make the most sense for you and your employees.
I have a bachelor and MBA degree, both with concentrations in finance, from the University of Connecticut. I have also earned the CFP® certification.
My passions include reading books, traveling, walking, spending time with family and friends and talking about the wonderful state of Connecticut. It also extends to sharing my business and financial knowledge as a Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce board member.
As a very proud Connecticut resident, I take the time to enjoy many of the wonderful amenities that our state offers us including many museums (it is the home of the oldest public museum in the U.S., Wadsworth Atheneum), wonderful parks, too many historic sites to count (e.g. it is the birthplace of of J.P. Morgan, Noah Webster, Nathan Hale, Harriet Beecher Stowe, P. T. Barnum and Samuel Colt), great restaurants, pristine public beaches, beautiful views from mountains which include a multitude of hiking trails and the many magnificent miles of the Connecticut river.
